This project is the material deconstruction or “fragmentation” of the acoustic drums (the kit) in the form of an artistic installation, accompanied by the film that is the sound and visual dematerialization of this work. To this is added the concept of women and music, and the way in which this union is seen and judged by society.
Art-Installation
The sound experience conveyed throughout the film is the rhythmic, uncoordinated and random combination of various drum sounds, performed by me. The captured noise was caused by intentional interaction with all parts of the drum set: the 4 cymbals; the 3 toms; the snare drum; the bass drum; the pedals; the drumsticks and all their holders.
