These artworks tell the story of a seamstress who lived in Saigon, Vietnam in the 1980s.
I designed this character according to the image of my mother when she was young: a patriotic tailor who likes to wear "áo dài" (traditional Vietnamese clothing), has long hair, likes purple, likes raising dogs and watching antique movies.
