Created by manipulating photos found online.  The challenge for this project was to redesign a book cover.  I chose one of my favorite books, The Perks of Being a Wallflower.  I based the design off of what I took away from the book, which is that you grow through love, whether it is loving yourself or someone else.  "We accept the love we think we deserve" is a quote pulled from the book.  If this design were to actually be printed, I would like for the text for the quote to be only a clear varnish with the background showing through.
