Dragonflies are amazing insects. Their wings are very characteristic and look beautiful up close. I was interested in how they look when you leave out their body. In this series I took one dragonfly wing and photographed it from different angles and played around with focus and light. I started with the idea to use photo stacking to visualise all details. I therefore made several photos from the same part of the wing, but with a slightly different point of focus. Yet, when I analysed the photos, I found out that that the blurry and the sharp also resulted in some interesting compositions.
