Science Project: Eggs from Hen to Hatch

Concept:
The goal of this project was to create an exhibition for the Saint Louis Science Center. I chose to focus my exhibit on the development cycle of the chicken egg. Eggs are an important and ubiquitous supermarket product, but we don't often think about how incredible it is that a chicken can be develop and hatch from an embryo state completely separate from its mother. This exhibit takes a closer look into a chicken's development inside the egg, from a single giant cell to a complex organism.
My exhibition design is planned for two walls and an incorporated augmented reality animations to explain each step of the chicken's development dynamically.
Entry Signage: This panel is animated (see above).

Panel 7: Conclusion
Augmented reality (AR) mockup. As an interactive element of the exhibit, visitors would use Instagram to scan the embedded Instagram eggs in each panel to view animations of each development step on their mobile phones.
