The Obsessed Artists Trope
" The artist who aims at perfection in everything achieves it in nothing."
— Eugène Delacroix

Perfection is something that every artist craves for. They believe in taking their time, and doing it in the best of forms and yet they aren’t satisfied with what they have achieved. They find their flaws and try to get better at themselves.

One might think that it’s self-awareness, the habit, the attitude to be better. Maybe it is. But maybe a process to lose yourself in the art. The process to find your passion, find yourself, and then making yourself fear it.

We all are imperfect beings. Neither of us are ever perfect. Neither of our works are. There will always something missing and so inevitably, our art will always be flawed.
Imperfection is innate in art, and perfection is an illusion.
