1) The star visual punctuation helps to reference the quote because it's about space.
2) My choice of font works because it looks somewhat mystical but also modern. They are both sans serif and uppercase but one has a lot of edges where the other has curves.
3) My choice of colors fits because the colors in the typography aren't excessive since they are simple and I used subtle color differences to emphasize certain words.
4) My final designs are stronger because I added texture for the background which makes them less boring.
5) For my first final design, I wish I had made the typography more complex and less simple. I also think that my first final design's background is too distracting because of the colors it and doesn't fit all that well with the quote. Again, I think that my second final design's typography is too simple. I mostly liked the way the texture turned out but next time I would make the background texture less white.
