German Expressionism
German Expressionism is an art movement that began in Europe in the 1920s. It rejects Western ideals and places emphasis on portraying reality. It placed higher emphasis on highlighting the inner reality than the outward appearance. It later extended into areas like politics, economics, film, music, theatre and architecture.
Since German Expressionism is all about portraying one's inner reality, I have photographed emotions of love, dread and sadness to depict this.
