L'ARRIVEE is a final year degree exhibition showcasing the works of graphic design and game design students from De Institute of Creative Arts and Design (ICAD), UCSI University. This event was held at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, Malaysia on April 15th and 16th."
Concept
The theme of the exhibition is inspired by the experience and atmosphere of Train Commuting.
The meaning behind this theme is based from the artist feeling of traveling their ideas from point-to-point as they sourced their inspiration for creativity non-stop, just like a train that stop in stations and terminal, heading back to journey again with new ideas.
L'Arrivee, French for arrival
As our journey of university getting near the end and we gradually find out our own ideas and identity. We, as design students, finally arrived at the terminal station of “Graduation”. We arrive at the station of finishing our studies, getting our designs ready to move on towards our destinations. Ready to step out from the train of learning, and arrived at the terminal ready for the real world.
