Gengè_A collection of non-mirrors

A collection of non-mirrors which aims to lead the observer to investigate – in a manner which is contemporary yet at the same time free of any form of virtuality – the ancient theme of identity and its double; using the mask as the shape, the mirror as the instrument and a wooden diaphragm as an optical expedient.

A stated homage by the designers to Italian writer Pirandello and the protagonist of his novel Uno, nessuno e centomila
(One, No One and One Hundred Thousand), Gengè also indirectly represents a tribute to his common Sicilian origins
