Case Study:  Travel Poster _ Hyderabad
For the Case study, I would like to show about travel poster design during semester 1 of the Media Arts Fundamentals Program in Graphic Design 1 Course. The project was to research the global destination that most appeal to you and design an original travel poster using any Adobe software to convince your classmates to visit. And, to Employ the principles of contrast, repetition, alignment, and proximity to create visual priority and hierarchy using the golden section to organize a composition. Develop an engaging short travel slogan for the poster.

The time when I got to know that we can choose any of the global destinations, and I decided to choose Hyderabad, which is my native place. I wanted to show about the place where I am from, Charminar is a monument located in Hyderabad. Constructed in 1591, the landmark is a symbol of Hyderabad and officially incorporated in the emblem of Telangana.[3] The Charminar's long history includes the existence of a mosque on its top floor for more than 425 years.

The layout of the poster is well-organized and visually appealing, with a balanced composition that draws the viewer's attention to the central image of the Charminar. The poster features a bold, teal-blue background that contrasts sharply with the vibrant colors used in the design. The Charminar itself is depicted in shades of gold and orange, which gives it an almost ethereal quality. The intricate details of the monument are highlighted by delicate lines and curves that add depth and dimension to the image. The text on the poster is minimal but effective, with a special font in green lettering that stands out against the background. The use of negative space around the text helps to draw attention to its importance while maintaining a clean and uncluttered look. Overall, this Charminar poster created using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is a masterful example of graphic design. Its careful layout and attention to detail make it an eye-catching piece that captures both the beauty and grandeur of this historic monument.
