Until 2020, League of Legends held the top position for both revenue and player base among PC games. However, reports suggest that in 2021, the game has seen an increase in its active player count worldwide, with estimates reaching up to 115 million.
Project Overview
In League of Legends, Star Guardian is a popular skin line (in-game cosmetics). Riot Games has reported that Star Guardian is the second best-selling skin line, following K/DA. Each release of Star Guardian features a unique beat, much like K/DA, and the skin line extends to other Riot titles, including TFT. The inspiration behind the Star Guardian skins draws heavily from the "Magical School girls" anime genre, which includes well-known titles such as Sailor Moon, Madoka Magica, and Cardcaptor Sakura.
Secretlab has announced another collaboration with Riot Games, this time releasing a Star Guardian themed product, the Secretlab Memory Foam Lumbar Pillow. The product is set to launch in July 2022, in conjunction with Riot's major beat for the Star Guardian event.
