Copycat Magazine Ad
KEY OBJECTIVES: This was a test for all of our previously learned photoshop features. We take a real-life magazine ad, take a picture and are supposed to replicate all of it. We are however allowed to put a fun spin on it and that's very much what I did. We measure the real-life ad and add what we can onto our own online versions; also having to learn about the E-scale in order to get the correct font size.
PHOTOSHOP FEATURES: Gradient tool, scale, crop, bevel and emboss, drop-shadow, shape tool, paint tool, paint bucket tool, selection mask, lasso tool, polygonal lasso tool, distort transform, mesh transform, layer modes, gaussian blur filter, blur tool, object select, and content-aware fill.
The ad that was copied and my ad beside it. It's obvious hopefully that I went for an ad directed towards snake owners and not cat owners.
