I'm genuinely lost for words. For almost two decades we haven't seen any fatal accidents in WRC. Many considered modern rally cars to be somewhat accident-proof as their pilots and co-drivers usually walked away from any crash without major injuries. The concept of death and danger in WRC slowly faded away, at least in the minds of us, fans.
Yesterday happened the almost unimaginable. Craig was an absolute legend who brought joy not only to the whole grid but to the fans and everyone around him as well.
Thank you for inspiring countless young drivers and dedicating your energy to the rally community.
