सतिगुरु नानकु प्रगटिआ मिटी धुंधु जगि चानणु होआ ।

With the emergence of the true Guru Nanak, the mist cleared and the light scattered all around.

ਜਿਉ ਕਰਿ ਸੂਰਜੁ ਨਿਕਲਿਆ ਤਾਰੇ ਛਪਿ ਅੰਧੇਰੁ ਪਲੋਆ।

जिउ करि सूरजु निकलिआ तारे छिपे अंधेरु पलोआ ।

As if at the sun rise the stars disappeared and the darkness dispelled.🙏🏻

Translation : ਹਮਰੀ ਕਰੋ ਹਾਥ ਦੈ ਰੱਛਾ ॥

 ਪੂਰਨ ਹੋਇ ਚਿੱਤ ਕੀ ਇੱਛਾ ॥ 

Please guard us with Your Hands. 

All my heart's desires are fulfilled.

 ਤਵ ਚਰਨਨ ਮਨ ਰਹੈ ਹਮਾਰਾ ॥ 

ਅਪਨਾ ਜਾਨ ਕਰੋ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਰਾ ॥੧॥ 

My mind is focused on Your Feet. 

Sustain us as Your Own. (1) 

ਹਮਰੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਸਭੈ ਤੁਮ ਘਾਵਹੁ ॥ 

ਆਪੁ ਹਾਥ ਦੈ ਮੋਹਿ ਬਚਾਵਹੁ ॥ 

Destroy all my enemies . 

With Your Hands protect me. 

ਸੁਖੀ ਬਸੈ ਮੋਰੋ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾ ॥ 

ਸੇਵਕ ਸਿੱਖਯ ਸਭੈ ਕਰਤਾਰਾ ॥੨॥

ਤਾਤੀ ਵਾਉ ਨ ਲਗਈ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਸਰਣਾਈ ॥

The hot winds do not touch me; the Supreme Lord is my Sanctuary.

ਚਉਗਿਰਦ ਹਮਾਰੈ ਰਾਮ ਕਾਰ ਦੁਖੁ ਲਗੈ ਨ ਭਾਈ ॥

I am surrounded by the Protection of God; pain does not touch me.
