Branston pickle is a family favourite, however, it's design is outdated and with a sugar content of 24g per 100g, something needs to change. My idea is to take the brand in a new 'organic' direction using healthier coconut sugar to keep the pickle sweet - and no, it doesn't taste of coconuts.
Do you know how many different vegetables are in a jar of Branston pickle? The answer is 6, but not a lot of people know this.
With a society that is health conscious, I realised it would be a good opportunity to point the vegetable content out to the public. This becomes the main focus for advertising and the absence of a label on the jar also promotes a 'good-on-the-inside', 'nothing-to-hide' approach to the rebrand. Read Less
