When we moved into our new apartment last year, my husband bought a beautifully restored vintage cinema light for the living room.

Initially, I thought it would be really cool to have some big vintage movie posters on the wall to go with it… and then… I thought that it would be even more fun to re-create some of these posters, but using our kids as models.
Over several months, we found our inspiration images, bought the outfits, cut and died hair, worked with a talented make-up artist, shot and edited the images and got them printed BIG.

I have to thank my kids for putting up with me and my ideas, to my daughter Camille who actually cut and died her hair for this, to Sandra from Sweet Coiffure for playing along with us, to Carina from carina-relooking.ch for her amazing work, to Rehouven for being a wonderful assistant and handyman… and to zingaro-printing.com for the beautiful wall art finishing.

Recreating Iconic Images

Using photographs of old movie stars, I set out to recreate some iconic images to use as feature wall art.
