For my senior projects thesis, I did research on the subconscious and unconscious minds, their relationship to Surrealism, and how each impacts me as a designer. I’ve always been an extremely imaginative and creative person. For my thesis visual, I used personal images and translated them into illustrations, as well as collaged cutouts of old coloring pages and drawings I created as a child. The motion loops through my younger and current self where my eyes open, close, and fade away to reveal a simple childhood surreal collage and then a moodboard like collage.
