I made three rules for myself when I set out to make my showreel:
1. No lazy fade transitions or direct cuts
2. Keep the length to 1 minute
3. Do what you want and not what you know - learn new things
The showreel is a collection of school projects, work assignments and personal projects. It's all made in Adobe After Effects.
