Panda Exhibition Branding

Branding System

Pandas are endangered because of their natural lowland habitat has been destroyed by farmers, development and forest clearing, forcing them further upland and reducing and fragmenting their habitat. This fragmentation of habitat is detrimental to the panda’s ability to find food.

The purpose of this exhibit is to learn more about panda’s habitat that might lead people to be interested in conservation more widely. Panda can be a “gateway animal.” The exhibit will convey visual communications to people to broaden their perspectives of endangered species.

Target audience: 12-18 years old. Most of young teens like soft and fluzzy creatures, increasing their cuddle factor that its look and demeanor typically attracts oohs and aahs.

The tones of this visual concept are playful and fun. Panda is adorable and fun as well. The characteristic of a big, round head, large eyes, a high forehead, and a roly-poly body of “P”, “A”, “N” and “D”. The font visualizes a round ball as in my perspective, they look like a fluffy ball. (In a way that they’re sleeping and playing.) The leaves represent their source of food.
