This book cover and inside spread design was created for a poetry book that was to be published by Celery City Chapbooks. My design was the one chosen by the author, who wrote about a motel her parents owned growing up. I wanted to create a cover with a creative yet classic feeling that matched the look of some postcards they had for the motel. That combined with a sleek inside to tie the whole design together.
