We wanted to create a story about love. A twisted, tender film about the weird and wonderful world we live in. Something that left you with a smile or a smirk or even a gasp. But ultimately something vibrant and explosive. Full of an array of characters, illustrated, designed, drawn, concocted and molded from our colorful brains. Told through the eyes of Scholar and the mediums and styles we love to explore any given day.
So we gathered our inclusive collection of creatives on both coasts. And we got weird.
From start to finish we tread lightly on what it means to love. What it means to connect. What it means to come together, to blindly adore another creature. In the fluid world we live in, we think it’s important to be free to express who you are and who your person is. No matter what.

"Humor and a bit of a jaw-on-the-floor moments were used to help underscore the messaging and as we continued to evolve the film, we found the biggest challenge was in making sure that the pay-off helped elevate the thrusting animations and revel in the good of love, even if wrapped in a left-of-center aesthetic."
