This figure of Team Canada and Pittsburgh Penguins' hockey player Sidney Crosby is a nod to his successful Gold-medal campaign at the Vancover Winter Olympics in 2010. This figure is special because I found it in a thrift store, which is the last place you'd find an Olympic hero. The picture shows how the Vancouver Olympics propelled Crosby into the "spotlight" and made him a houshold name in international and NHL hockey.
