CASA ADAPTADA PARA CHICA JOVEN CON MOVILIDAD REDUCIDA

ADAPTED HOUSE FOR A YOUNG GIRL WITH REDUCED MOBILITY 

El mayor reto de esta casa fue crear un espacio totalmente adaptado para Marta, una niña, y también para su madre. Querían una casa funcional pero no con apariencia ortopédica!! 

 Cada discapacidad motora tiene sus propias características. Marta suele utilizar una scooter. Por lo necesitaba entrar a la casa con él y tener un estacionamiento con carga eléctrica de la batería. Los espacios también debían ser lo más diáfanos posible, para circular por el interior de la vivienda. El baño fue el gran desafío. Ella se debería duchar sentada y con los mandos a su medida. El espacio también cuenta con un W.C. inteligente y la grifería dispone de sensor de presencia para facilitar su uso.

The biggest challenge in this house was to create a fully adapted space for Marta, a young girl, and her mother. They wanted a functional house but not with orthopedic appearance !! Each motor disability has its own characteristics. Marta usually uses a scooter. So she needed to enter the house with him and have a parking space with electric charge from the battery.
The spaces had to be as diaphanous as possible. And the Bathroom  was the big challenge. He had to allow her to shower sitting down and with her controls tailored to her. The space also has a smart toilet. The sink allows wheelchair access and the faucet has a presence sensor to facilitate use.

The mother has her own bathroom, which is shared by visitors. The uniqueness of this is that we have used wood-like ceramics to provide the rustic taste, but avoid a material that needs maintenance. This is the result.

The scooter parking has a small laundry area. Being visible it was important not to forget the design
