Today we went to Guimet National Museum of Asian Arts when it opened at 10am. Then we walked miles, it seemed, to find a place to have lunch. We covered the areas between Victor Hugo to Trocadero and then under the Eiffel Tower to Cafe Constant which was worth it, thankfully! Looking at the street signs in my photos, we started in the 8th arr, then were in the 16th and ended up in the 7th, where Cafe Constant is. I don’t know what we’d do without google maps...

After lunch we walked another 20 minutes or so to Musee Rodin. The special exhibit there is Mapplethorpe. The parallels were very interesting.

It rained hard and then the sun came out and then it rained hard again. My little umbrella is a mess but I think it will last the rest of this trip.

Iconic photo of the Eiffel Tower. I'm sure I wouldn't have taken this if it wasn't for the fact that our lunch restaurant wasn't beyond it!
