Fervojo - Free Font

A font family Fervojo is a geometric sans-serif typeface inspired by the numeric typefaces that have been used in the subway system of Tokyo, Japan (the original numeric typeface is also called “Eidan-Numbers” or “Eidan-Typeface”).
While the original version of the typeface design had only numbers, Fervojo expands its character set to support a lot of Latin and Greek alphabets used in Western and Central European languages, Chinese Pinyin, Esperanto, etc.

This font family does not intend to “reproduce” the original design, therefore, differences in details exist from the original letterforms.
There have been previous attempts to “reproduce” this subway typeface, and there are other font adaptations of the typeface besides my work, Fervojo. If you value the “accuracy” of letterforms in typefaces, I recommended you check them out.

This font family is published under the SIL Open Font license 1.1 (OFL 1.1), and the current version of Fervojo is version 1.0. I will continue to update this font family, correcting font data and adding styles and glyphs (languages). If you want to get the latest information, please follow me on Behance and Twitter!

Due to Behance specifications, only Thin, Regular, Medium, and Bold weight OTF format files can be downloaded from this page. (Light and Demi weight files cannot be downloaded here)
