As a User Experience Workstream Lead at HP Inc. my primary responsibility is to ensure that the platform solutions delivered to different customer segments are designed to meet their unique needs. The platform incorporates all existing Hardware, Firmware, and Software assets, and my role involves coordinating with R&D, UX, and UI teams to ensure that all workstreams are organized efficiently.

My overall objective is to provide a seamless end-user experience across all touchpoints, enabling a single learning curve for customers. To achieve this, I need to define platform solutions that are tailored to meet the specific user needs of each customer segment. This involves working closely with my team to ensure that the solutions are adaptable and can be modified to fulfill the requirements of different segments.

In addition to serving customer needs, my role also involves aligning business needs and requirements with other businesses (Small Format Printing) to produce common platform solutions.

By leveraging available platform solutions to the maximum and minimizing variations, I can increase business efficiency, which is a critical objective of my role.

To execute this work effectively, I follow a UX design process that involves gathering user needs and use cases, generating and validating concepts, defining platform requirements, and ensuring the overall experience.

I have a range of skills that enable me to work in this role, including User Testing (Script & report validation), Project Management, Communication, Miro Collaboration Platform, Adobe XD, Information Architecture, and Axure RP.

WHERE AND HOW DO I ADD VALUE?

Here are some of the ways my work creates value for HP and its customers:

- Enhancing the User Experience: By driving platform solutions tailored to user needs, my goal it to ensure that customers have a seamless and satisfying experience when using HP products. This, in turn, can increase customer loyalty and improve the overall reputation of HP as a brand.

- Increased Efficiency: By aligning business needs and requirements with other businesses to produce common platform solutions, in this project my role is helping to obtain efficiency within the organization. This helps to reduce duplication of effort and resources, which can lead to significant cost savings.

- Improved Collaboration: My role involves coordinating with multiple teams, including R&D, Industrial Design, and Interaction & UI Designers, to ensure that the workstreams are organized efficiently. This promotes collaboration and cross-functional communication, which can help to break down silos and increase productivity.

- Data-Driven Decision Making: The UX design process that we follow involves gathering user needs and use cases, generating and validating concepts, and defining platform requirements. This approach ensures that decisions are based on data and user feedback, which can help to create better solutions that meet customer needs.

Overall, my role as a User Experience Workstream Lead at HP Inc. is critical in ensuring that the platform solutions delivered to customers are tailored to meet their unique needs. This helps to enhance the user experience, increase efficiency, promote collaboration, and support data-driven decision making within the organization.
