The recently concluded basketball season was experimental in nature, as the theme had not yet been established. The first year of the social media overhaul was an opportunity to gauge the effectiveness of the approach, and both the Men's and Women's teams reaped significant benefits from the initiative. The season was aimed at showcasing the impressive skills and accomplishments of the student athletes on the court, which was accomplished through eye-catching posters featuring a variety of colors, environments and shapes.

Year 1 was all about trying new things and experimenting, so we thought why not get creative with the schedule poster too? We wanted to make something that would be memorable and also cool enough to hang up in your room. Everyone loved it - the athletes, the students - it was a hit! We even made two versions of it: one to hang up in school and another for social media, so everyone could check it out.
After every win whether home or road games we decided to implement troll graphics , something the conference had never seen nor any HBCU in the social media space. It was implemented late in the season for the men's team.
