The main theme is meant to be the representation of the beginning and the end of a couple's relationship; in fact, I wanted to divide the shoot ideologically into two parts, represented by contrasting feelings and emotions.
With the first part of the shots we can observe a girl, returning home after a first hypothetical date, clutching tightly to herself some flowers received from her sweetheart. Theirs is a bond that has just been born but is already assumed to be strong, intense and full of love.
The hidden side begins to emerge, it depicts the opposite: everything that comes after the end of a relationship, represented by these frames of sadness, disappointment and anger.
In fact, for these last shots I decided that I wanted to have the flowers destroyed and the model's makeup soiled, to render a more realistic effect, just as if she had been crying.
