Board Game
Core is a futuristic race to the finish, based on the idea of the classic children’s game, King of the Hill. The goal of the project was to create a completely functional board game that children to young adults can play and enjoy, which requires problem–solving skills and strategy. Inspired by the minimal futurism of the iconic movie TRON, Core is futuristically styled with basic geometric shapes, bright luminescent colors, clean typography and iconography design. Constructing the board game allowed for the utilization of craftsmanship skills and experimentation with materials such as acrylic and light, which illuminates the playing field.
