Stray Cat Vineyard is a local vineyard in Lawrence, Kansas that needed a new identity. I developed a few logos for them to choose from. They were looking for something that evoked a welcoming, warm, and rich feeling. I chose the font Eloquent JFPro as the primary type because I loved the contrasting line weight and the terminals that are reminiscent of the grapes.
Their color palette needed o evoke the warmth and richness of the environment and the grapes that they are growing so the burgundy, black, gold, and gray were an easy choice.
