lWhen I studied abroad in Amsterdam, I noticed their way of living is very sustainable. There are community efforts and everyday activities embedded in the Amsterdam society. As a result of my observations, I decided to make these posters which are about specific pursuits. The first is called Repair cafe in which abandoned buildings are transformed into cafes. It is completely volunteer based. The multiple pieces in the poster are to symbolizer the community coming together and the multiple moving pieces that it takes.

The second poster is about Volkstuinen. These are were anyone can rent out areas of the park to grow their own gardens. The organic shapes are meant to demonstrate the organic nature of these gardens. Both posters work in harmony with the simultaneous moving parts and the natural atmosphere to demonstrate how the community must come together to play a part in sustainable efforts.
