INTRODUCTION
A portfolio of my work as a graphic design marketing intern at the Lied Center for Performing Arts. I collaborated with the marketing team to create a variety of materials, such as advertisements to promote shows coming to the Lied, social media posts, and editorials such as brochures and program books. Additionally, I collaborated with the lead designer on some projects to ensure deadlines were met and to ensure that the branding of the Lied stood out. Collaborating with the marketing team is a vital part of every project I do to ensure that the content is accurate. A good challenge I face is striking a balance between content and design, ensuring that the most critical information stands out while avoiding overwhelming the audience with too much information.

During my time as a graphic design intern, I honed my ability to integrate content and visuals. Since the Lied Center aimed to emphasize the performers and events, I strived to achieve equilibrium in my designs, ensuring that the events were eye-catching while also maintaining the Lied Center's branding as a prominent feature. Some of the performing events, such as Broadway musicals, already have established branding. Therefore, it was a good challenge to ensure that the existing branding was met while also connecting it with the Lied Center's branding.
POSTCARDS
Postcards are created to promote and advertise upcoming performing arts events at the Lied. These postcards provide a brief overview of the event, including its date and time, and ticket prices for both adults and youths. Additionally, sponsors are emphasized at the bottom of the postcards. A couple example of postcard designs I've made are shown below.
PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS
When it comes to promotional materials, I am usually tasked with creating flyers to promote upcoming shows or inform UNL students about available ticket deals. Some of these promotional materials can be content-heavy, so I strive to find a balance.
ADS
At the Lied Center, ads are frequently designed for multiple purposes, including online platforms, Lincoln Journal Star, and more. Ads are typically content-heavy to ensure that the right information is conveyed. It presents a rewarding challenge to prioritize and emphasize the key information over other details.

ONLINE ADS
Here are a few examples of online ads for various websites. Many of these will differ, depending on size, the intended audience, and more. As each ad may have a different appearance, I prioritize the layout as a crucial element in the design process.
PRINT ADS
These ads are typically distributed at Lincoln Community Playhouse shows to provide an overview of upcoming shows. It's important to note that these ads must be in black and white, as per the guidelines. Grid system is used heavily for better organization of the content.
SOCIAL MEDIA
These social media posts were created to promote shows under Arts For All, a program that offers free access to performing arts shows for UNL students. The posts feature a simple layout, with each performing arts show photo as the main focus. Several posts were created, and a couple of examples are shown below.

BROADWAY MUSICALS
I was tasked with creating outdoor banners (top left and bottom) to promote the package of Broadway musicals for the new Lied season. These banners will be hung outside the Lied Center building. The top right is an advertisement for Pinewood Bowl to promote the packages of the Broadway musicals. The designs feature a new branding for the upcoming season. It is also important to ensure the Lied's branding is consistent with any new materials.
