FIFTY FIFTY "The Beginning" 1st Single Album Redesign

This passion project showcases two versions of the first single album "The Beginning" from K-pop girl group FIFTY FIFTY. Since the title track has a youthful and fun yet whimsical feel, I showcased these feelings in the album designs. Since there were many concept photos done, I used the ones that felt most like the song and named the versions so they correlate to each other. The two versions I decided on for the album are "sweet" and "dream."
"Sweet" represents the hopefulness to find a relationship but ultimately feeling disappointment, so they find support in each other knowing they don't need a cupid. "Dream" represents the side of them getting their dream fulfilled with a reference to flowers, which are a common gift in relationships.
These versions are very different from other typical albums with multiple versions. Other albums would have only a shift in color palette and different photos. I wanted to challenge myself to show two different design concepts for this album while still making use of the same design elements such as color, typeface, and icons in both versions. I've separated each concept into two different posts since there were many products designed in each.
