Mzansi Super League
Brief
To update The Mzansi Super League brand. The Mzansi Super League brand is the premier professional Twenty20 cricket league held annually in South Africa. The competition was established in 2018 by Cricket South Africa.
Solutions
The brief was to develop branding for the league. We took cues from the vibrant colours of the teams to create the brand. The aim was to match the lively colours of the different squads and the exciting and fun atmosphere of the games. We created a pattern with cricket motifs like a cricket bat, balls, wickets and arrows that signify the fast-paced action on the field shown in their campaign line Fast Fun for All. The pattern has a uniquely African feel. We used it in branding apparel, animation and flags.
