BTS And The Unused Variant
The client found the version below to be too green and leafy. This particular scene was created within Cinema 4D. Palm leaves were rigged with bones, which allowed them to be reactive in real-time. This was the biggest highlight here, however, I had to scratch the whole scene and start over. This eventually led to a result more in line with the brand look & feel.

3D Tracking
First step was to track the drone camera inside After Effects and then bring it into Cinema 4D. Then came the modeling part plus material creation and then rendering with the exported tracked camera. Finally, it was time to comp it all together in Ae with some shadows and CC adjustment.

A little backstory of the whole collaboration — the client reached out to me at first with only this particular asset in mind. They were so happy with the results that they decided to commission all the videos you see in this breakdown.

the classic is back in stores
Since the Egyptische Erde was created back in the 90s, the client wanted to redesign the brand, but keep the retro feel in order to trigger the nostalgia. The logotype is unchanged but with the modern twist to it and created in two variants.

360 Animations For ecomm
There was also a request to make the product's showcase with an idea to engage the potential client and encourage them to put the item inside the cart. While being on the product page inside the web shop, a continuous motion is definitely more attractive rather than a simple static image.
