Character Animation SHINE

Animation SHINE Project
Animated character (made in Adobe Fresco) in different universes
Timelapse:
I began my process with the first sketches of my character. I experimented with different colors and profiles of the character.
This was the reference board i made and used for the animation of the walking cycle:
First (rough) storyboard/idea:
6 FPS
After the rough sketch version, I started drawing the outline on top of that layer with black.
First version animation (without color):
6 FPS
Then i started working on coloring every frame, one by one. I left it a bit messy on purpose, because I wanted it to still have that sketch-y feel. The easier part came when I had colored the full cycle and I could start repeating earlier frames. I had a few problems with this, because earlier I had forgotten I'd drawn the full outline of the cycle already and started adding some more frames that I didn't need. That's why some frames ended up looking like this:
It was frustrating, but it wasn't difficult to fix. This is how the complete colored version of my character looks:
Animation with color:
7FPS
After that i starter working on a background. After a while of drawing, I got the idea to make several backgrounds to show my character walking in different universes. For example a universe where he's a ghost, or a vampire.
The earliest versions of this idea all had flaws, and had some issues with the repeated frames not matching up. In another one, the background kept shifting because of a moving object. Here's some examples:
Here's the final product.

Animation with backgrounds:
7FPS
1. Blank background
2. Ghost
3. Old-fashioned businessman
4. Vampire
5. Wheat field
After this, I decided to make another character walking the (somewhat) same cycle. I started by sketching and deciding on the front and side profiles of the character.
Timelapses:
I used the same references as the last animation, but since this new character has wings, I needed more references.
I started the animation by sketching the movement cycle.
First (rough) storyboard/idea:
7 FPS

After I was done sketching, I started the black outline. I made sure I wouldn't run into the same problems as the last time and it all went well, until some frames got messed up again. Luckily it was easy to fix.
Outline version animation:
7 FPS
Timelapse:
I originally wanted to make a colored version as well, but I ran out of time and could only make this version of the animation. I'm happy with the endresult either way.
