"CHE"- Rural Mobility in 2040
CHE is my master thesis. In this project I have focused on the rural mobility scenario in China and tried to provide a better mobility solution under the rural scenarios in 2040 with modular design.
Design Exploration & Development with 3D Printing_
On the early stage of this project, I tried to create inspirations with 3D printing. I combined different moduled to explore interesting proportions and stances.
Diversified expectations with one vehicle_
For rural users, parents and children often use the same vehicle for reasons of cost. However, when using the same vehicle, the needs of each person are different. For grandparents there are farming needs to be considered, while parents are more concerned with commuting and children want a personalised mobility to have fun with their friends. CHE would help them to create thier own travel solution by modular design.
