The project is located on the northern slope of the mount Gučevo looming over Loznica, Serbia. The concept is based on the natural environment and traditional bioclimatic  building principles of ancient Serbian homes such as those in Sirogojno but modernized to meet the needs of a contemporary family. The main key points are the high-pitched roof, partition of space into day zone with bigger volume and night zone with smaller volume. The structure is a GLULAM A-frame reinforced horizontally in three zones, each of which is one floor level. The shape of the roof also plays a crucial part during winter so that it holds the snow longer thus using it as a natural thermal insulator.
