Bleecker Street Duplex - New York, NY
Architecture  |  Interior Design

A historic townhouse, built in 1901, in New York’s West Village was completely renovated with custom millwork and a cantilevered wood staircase. The building’s original ceiling beams, exposed brick and wide-plank flooring are contrasted with modern Corian countertops, white-washed woodwork and contemporary artwork. By creating an open floor plan and eliminating all full-height partitions, we embraced the apartment’s small 800 sq ft footprint and transformed it into a light filled space for this European client. Project in collaboration with Nathalie Goris.
