The environmental and social impact of fast fashion is becoming increasingly evident, yet the industry seems to continue to grow. Many people express concern about climate change, but a few actually take action regarding their closet. 
    In these researches I want to question how the system functions to make us always consume more and how we can free ourselfves from the fast fashion pit. 
    I explore the history of the textile industry and its impact on the environment and society. I aim to understand who is targeted by this call for consumption and find tools to bypass this process. Finally, I will look towards the future of the industry as i’ll consider how it will have to align with futur’s climate challenges and therefore how we can prepare young generations for a more sustainable future.
