k1ng supr3m3's album, Something Different, felt like being instantly transported to a late night, high-speed rail with neon lights zipping past before being gently placed in a verdant jungle oasis. I decided I wanted to feature plants creeping into a train car to illustrate that.

I think the biggest challenge with this project was the greenery, specifically in places that were a bit less defined. A good solution would probably have been to use images of larger plants, but c'est la vie - I did not do that. I did want the plants to obviously match the background, and I love the structures in the back window. 

As the imagery started to come along, I began playing with the colors. At the time, I was listening to one of the tracks that felt like a crisp breath after a heavy, summer haze. I knew I wanted purple in there to symbolize royalty, so it became the title block with the hazy green surrounding it.

For the text I decided to play off of the LED display and chose Littlebit Variable. After some further color and image adjustments, I was finished.
