Instagram art challenge on March 13- 19. This challenge was organized by wonderful illustrators: @geeksarecool, @jelkevantwerpen, @le_facciotte, @valeriaillustrates, @edwardiantaylor and supported by @iloveillustrators (you can find them on Instagram)
The point is to redraw vintage book covers in your own style (#dtiys) or create a new unique design.
All hosts shared 4 bookcovers and then the participants started their work on the challenge.

The first stage of creating any illustration is a sketch. I make all sketches in a sketchbook - it's more comfortable for me.
