This set of illustrations were used for my Linguistics Homework. Our class listened to five different voices reading the same material - a recipe. As an assignment, we were tasked to imagine whom this voices belonged to, what they look like, who they are and what they do.
The first voice sounded like any normal young Filipina. The voice actually belonged to an Art Studies professor (If I remember correctly) and she is nowhere similar to this illustration. I remember envisioning her wearing a neat pony tail, but still, it was nowhere close to a shaved head. Haha!
The second voice sounded very much like a typical "conyo", but there was something about the way she spoke that told me that she wasn't in her teens anymore and yes, she wasn't. As it turns out, she is a professor from the College of Psychology.
The third voice obviously belonged to a kid. The way he read also gave away his age, I remember him reading "C" instead of "degrees Celsius"
The fourth voice is the voice of an elderly Filipino lady. I remember her reading "Centigrade" instead of "Celsius", I'm not particularly sure, but I think Centigrade was a more popular term back then.

The fifth voice turned out to be the voice of an Australian man with a buff physique. I have yet to learn how to distinguish a British from an Australian accent.
