Working Title: Stabbing
Official Title: Passing the Blade
I've continued to make general progress this week, and most importantly my film finally has an official title! After many iterations and much feedback the title is Passing the Blade. It refers to Stevie's fencing legacy that he's passing on to Henry.
I've finished the reference footage that I had been pushing back, as well as some blocking and spline/polishing of several more shots for this check.
What's Next
This coming week is focused again on animating. I have a new computer that will be arriving next week so once I get that set up I'll have that prepared for rendering. Of course in order to render I have shots that I need to complete, lighting to finalize, and with the Convergence showcase where I will display this film coming up soon I will also need to spend time working on marketing materials for that this week. Such as finishing designing my business cards, making sure I order my resumes printed on nice paper in time, printing a poster, and planning out my table display for the showcase.
