TUESDAY NIGHT RIDES BRAND IDENTITY

Client: John Hicks, Tuesday Night Rides​​​​​​​
Time Frame: Fall 2022-Spring 2023

Background: Tuesday Night Rides — an offshoot of Utipils Cycling's over 3,100-member cycling community — is centered around speedy bike rides, rowdy times, camaraderie, and food discovery around the Twin Cities. Rides take place on Tuesday evenings throughout the summer and into the fall. In its first year, TNR gathered a following of over 250 riders and is continuing to grow.

Challenge: John Hicks, lead organizer and founder of Tuesday Night Rides was looking for a logo and brand identity that would match the "rascally" spirit of the group. TNR's brand needed to be visually captivating and stand out from other cycling groups in the Twin Cities area. 

Solution: Using a combination of striking typography, bold colors, playful illustrations, and a carefully crafted brand identity John and I were able to craft an unforgettable brand story that resonated with the TNR group members.​ Bike jerseys, stickers, and patches are not only on view during the Tuesday rides, but have also made appearances at rides and races across the state of Minnesota and around the globe.
