This was a good introduction to Figma's advanced features such as nesting components inside other components and exposing their properties (in beta currently).
Using design tokens to create a dynamic type scale
Using Tokens Studio for Figma (Figma Tokens), I created a dynamic type scale. You can select the scale rule that you want to apply and see the text size updated through the whole document.
Exporting design tokens to JSON file
The great thing about design tokens is that it allows for a clean, consistent design system that can be exported to a JSON file. This file can then be used by developers, allowing for consistency through the whole product.
