Concept for Design “How will I ever get out of this labyrinth?” To me this statement represents our place in time, trapped in a complex and winding labyrinth, constantly being faced with the reality of life and death. For this piece I chose to show time as represented in the beauty of life and death, the flora in a state of living and dying and the animals are now only bones and the insects dead but still seemingly whole.

Solution I used a combination of living and dead flowers and leaves with animal bones and insects to create a contrast between life and death.
