The brand Vinhaz is derived from the Portuguese words for vineyard (vinha) and olive oil (azeite). As a Belgian importer and distributor, Vinhaz sources wine and olive oil from small, local farms in Portugal, emphasizing quality products at affordable prices rather than expensive luxury items.
I created an approachable and very personal brand that would avoid stereotypical visuals. The lark, symbolizing the founder's spirit animal, was incorporated into the design. The colors used were inspired by the sunny Portuguese landscape, with references to the blue skies, greenery, and colorful houses.
