For the release of a range of new football boots of adidas during the 2014 FIFA World Cup™ we created a seamless online experience and created tools for adidas and E-retailers to promote these new boots called "The Battle Pack".

Battle Pack introduction video:
When entering adidas.com/football we created a new landingpage for the 2014 FIFA World Cup™. Part of this landingpage was the entrance of the Battle Pack boots. When scrolling down the page a introduction video autoplayed that turned into a boot selector.
Boot Explorer:
After the introduction you could swipe between the 5 boots of the pack.

Battle Pack Experience Pages:
When selecting a boot the user is directed to a designated page about the boot. For each of the boots in the range we created a unique page. We cleverly combined custom design, animation and experience with the existing adidas.com shopping functionality, making the product landing pages a lot more appealing.
Teaser videos:
For each boot we created animations that play within the page and introduce a interactive boot feature explorer.

Predator:
Initial storyboard "Predator":
The idea behind these videos is that every boot is born without an identity. By using light ( projection mapping) the shoe get's it's identity (it's unique pattern, born out of a singular shape representing the boot in Retail displays) and is fuled up with the energy a player needs to head for battle.
Interactive feature explorer:
For each boot we highlight the main feature in the same treatment we use for the animations. Showing here the Nitrocharge example.

Each page has a image gallery with imagery of the boot. We tried to align these to the rest of the look&feel of the page. (Example: Predator)
Mobile pages:
Each of the pages was also avaible on mobile, but simplified and brought to the essence.

To create a seamless user journey visually we also made all the assets that live within the .com environment:
E-retailers:
For all the E-retailers we made packages including wallpapers and bannersets, besides a extensive package including all the pages and boot explorer for them to use.
